ASHLEY PEEL PINKHAM, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Ashley Peel Pinkham started at The Print Center in 2000 as the Gallery Store Manager before becoming the Assistant Director in 2003. In this position she oversees The Print Center’s large and active membership, marketing, press relations and internship program. She also oversees its and annual auction, the largest fundraiser of the year which has continued to increase in revenue and audience. Peel Pinkham upgraded The Print Center’s email communication system and has grown its contact list by over 130%.
She has volunteered for numerous organizations including Philagrafika and The Photo Review. She was artist-in-residence with the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Pennsylvania in a collaborative project entitled Body Image: A Photo Documentary and has curated and juried numerous exhibitions including those at the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, Chester County Arts Association, Society for Photographic Education Mid-Atlantic Conference, First Person Arts Festival and Lincoln200 Festival. She has been a panelist for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Philadelphia Cultural Fund and is frequently invited to critique student work at area art schools. She is on the board of the Latimer Street Association and West Passyunk Neighbors Association. Peel Pinkham is formerly the Co-Executive Director for the Philadelphia Center for the Photographic Image and National Conference Planner for the Society for Photographic Education.
