Charlotte
R. Yudis was an instructor of printmaking,
bookmaking, and papermaking at the Fleisher Art Memorial for over fifteen years, and part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Education
Department for over ten. Yudis created richly textured etchings,
often of organic substances, most notably her blood series where she
magnified many of the images up to twenty-five times revealing
a delicate, intricate pattern of cells.
